The Coaches

Head Coach Derrick RapskyDerrick Rapsky has been Minooka’s Head coach since 2002. He’s led the team to State 12 times in his career, with 2021-2022 being the most successful year, where the team placed 1st.
Greg PaulGreg Paul has been with the Minooka Coaching Staff since 2002. He is an expert statistician, knowledgeable in all things bowling and the true base of the team, holding the bowlers accountable to their shots. Greg has bowled many 300 games (2 sanctioned) and 800 series (1 sanctioned). Greg is also one of the owners of Channahon Lanes, the team’s house.
Tom DoudTom Doud has been with the Minooka Coaching Staff since 2002. He is responsible for the pristine condition of the lanes. He fine-tunes the athlete’s skills by running the team through drills. Tom has bowled many 300 games (12 sanctioned) and 800 series (6 sanctioned). Tom is also one of the owners of Channahon Lanes.
Alex GuglielmucciAlex Gugliemucci has risen through the ranks, bowling under Coach Rapsky in his teens and bowling collegiately for St. Francis University. He has proudly bowled 300 games and 800 series. He joined the coaching staff of Minooka High School in 2021. He is key to the team’s success with advice on movement, ball changes and adjustments to the bowler’s approach. His generous spirit is appreciated by the entire team (and parents). Alex donates his time, which is in short supply while he works a very busy full-time schedule.
